Area Fishing Guide Updated

Just a short notice to let you know that I have now updated the entire Area Fishing Guide with the newest information about bait, wr, time etc.

It's quite a timeconsuming task, and I'm often quite busy too with life in general X-)

But it's fun to see the quality and accuracy of the information improving all the time thanks to the ever increasing ammounts of players in Fishao. And there are alot of helpful players out there =)

MAJOR update: Personal homes!

You might already know this if you follow Fishao on facebook or if you are checking the forum. But today a piece of very exciting information was released. Soon (probably by the end of the year) we will all have our own personal homes in Fishao which we can buy forniture for and decorate however we want!

Humpback Anglerfish added!

Humpback Anglerfish has now been added to the 5-star section.

Humpback Anglerfish caught!

The previously never before caught 5-star Humpback Anglerfish in Sibiri has now been caught! =)

The player who caught it was Klorel on the Dutch server. I'm hoping to get hold of a screenshot in with a bit higher resolution so that I can add it to the 5-Star Guide too. But never the less I do have a screenshot of it and it really looks like a fish worthy to be caught during halloween, dont you think? ;-)

Anyways, an awesome fish!

I'm now lvl 120 =)

Yesterday I reached level 120, which means that I can now finally start fishing in Marshville! =)

I did some really intense (insane?) leveling from level 100-120. I caught somewhere between 13-15 5-star fishes in the past three days! (thank you Luck Potion 2)

And somewhere along the way I caught a giant 399 cm Octopus which is a new world record =)



This was a pretty short update, but just felt like sharing it =)

New World Record Biggest Fish !!!

The player Blackman was fishing for shark in the Boat On Sea Tournament using meat. He made cast after cast with no fish biting. And with only a couple of minutes left he activated a magic watch to speed things up a little. Shortly after this he gets the bite of his life! After a hard struggle with the great fish he finally lands it. And it's a 778 cm BEAST Shark!

On a little sidenote I just thought I'd mention that I have been focusing on leveling for the past two days. Mainly at Seagul Harbor using Luck Potion 2.

If you manage to find hotspots, this might be one of the most efficient ways to level up quickly (but not the cheapest!).

So far I caugt THREE 5-star Atlantic Wolffish the first day and the seond day (today) I have this far caught FOUR 5-star Sailfish! I can hardly believe it myself.

I do so much fishing in salt water that I become Salty =)

Another Paddlefish!

I have been trying to catch the Paddlefish for a long time, and I'm yet to get a bite from it =)

So it's really nice to see people catch it!

Villevari has just recently managed to catch one, so contratulations to that! But not only that, he also has the current world record for Shark. And the shark is a really rare catch! The reason for that is that it can only be caught on meat in the Boat On Sea Tournament.

On a side note I just saw the highest price on a fish in the Fish Market that I've seen so far. It was for my Atlantic Wolffish that I caught last week. 104 fishbucks, not bad for one fish! =)
